Gary Mathias brings 22 years of experience as an entrepreneur, investment banker, and private equity investor across diverse industries including healthcare services and IT, enterprise software, specialty manufacturing, insurance services, pharmaceutical, consumer products, staffing, and business services.  He was previously the co-founder and president of a software company that was sold to a public company, as well as the chief operating officer of a health care distribution company.  In addition to his operating experience, Gary has extensive experience in M&A and capital raising.  Before joining CM&M, he was a senior vice president in GE Capital' venture capital division, partner of an Atlanta-based investment banking firm, and executive vice president of Premier Healthcare, a private equity firm that acquired and developed a portfolio of healthcare services and information technology companies.

Gary currently serves on the board of the Stamford Chapter of the Connecticut Venture Group, has been a judge for the Crossroads Venture Fair since 2000, and has been a board director for Diabetes Support Systems, DJJ Technologies, and Dome Imaging Systems. 

Gary is a travel coach and board member for Ridgefield Youth Lacrosse and is actively involved as a sports photographer for youth sports. Gary earned a BA in economics from Harvard College, an MBA from Yale University, and a Fulbright Fellowship for post-graduate studies in economics.
