Jim Perakis

Advisor
Jim Perakis is chairman of Netkey, Inc., a
provider of self-service and digital signage
software. He also serves on the boards of
Unica Corporation (NASDAQ: UNCA), the leader
in enterprise marketing software, and Sparta
Systems, Inc., a provider of quality
management software and is an advisor to
several other technology firms. He was CEO of
Hyperion Software Corporation, a pioneer in
enterprise financial management and planning
software, from 1985 to 1998, overseeing growth
from startup through IPO to sales of over $300
million. Hyperion was acquired in 2008 by
Oracle. Previously, Perakis was general
manager of Chase Decision Systems, CFO of
Interactive Data Corporation, and vice
president on the corporate staff of Chase
Manhattan Corporation.
Perakis holds a BSEE degree from the
University of South Carolina and an MBA from
Columbia Business School.
He has been an investor and served on boards
of a number of public and private technology
companies, including Mapinfo Corporation,
Bristol Technology, Inc., Vurv,Inc. and
Microbank Software, and has served on the board
of the Connecticut Technology Council. |
