Carter Morse & Mathias Announces Board of Advisors
SOUTHPORT, Connecticut, October 21, 2009 -- Carter Morse & Mathias ("CMM")
announced today the formation of a Board of Advisors, consisting of eight
prominent business professionals. The Board of Advisors will strengthen CMM as a
leading independent investment banking firm for middle market companies in the
Northeast. The Advisory Board members are prominent business executives and
thought leaders in a number of industries that are important to CMM's clients.
Frank Morse, a Managing Director of CMM commented, "We look forward to

Eugene M. Dunkin, Jr. is a highly respected
consumer packaged goods executive and former President of Godiva North
America.

Tony Friscia is President & CEO of Boston
based AMR Research, the leading IT research & advisory firm specializing in
global supply chain and enterprise technology strategies.

Greg Gardiner, Ph.D. specializes in the life
sciences as a consultant and advisor to several investment funds and
pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He is a partner in Elm Street Ventures,
an early stage venture fund, and was formerly Managing Director of Yale's
Office of Cooperative Research and a member of the faculty after a long career
with Pfizer.

Lee Greenhouse is the founder and CEO of
Greenhouse Associates, a Chicago based strategic consulting firm serving
clients in publishing, media and online information services.

Alan Mendelson is co-founder and Managing
Director of Axiom Venture Partners, providing capital and strategic assistance
to rapidly growing high technology companies in communications, software,
internet infrastructure, biotechnology and information technology.

Jim Perakis was a founder and CEO of Hyperion
Software Corporation before its sale to Oracle in 2008, and currently serves
as board director, investor and advisor to several public and private leading
software companies.

Robert D. Scinto is the founder and Chairman
of R. D. Scinto, Inc., one of the leading developers of office and industrial
buildings in Fairfield County, Connecticut, with a portfolio of more than 2.5
million square feet of commercial space.

Robert J. Shapiro, Ph.D. is the co-founder and
Chairman of Sonecon, LLC., a Washington-based economic advisory firm that
provides in-depth analyses of economic conditions in the United States and
around the world and the impact of government policies on those conditions and
the prospects for particular industries and clients. From 1997 to 2001, Dr.
Shapiro was U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for Economic Affairs.
