Ramsey Goodrich Joins Carter Morse & Mathias March 27, 2005 - Carter Morse & Mathias, a leading regional investment banking firm based in Southport, Connecticut, announced that Ramsey Goodrich has joined the firm as a Managing Director. "We are pleased to add Ramsey to our team. He is an experienced, respected banker who will make an immediate contribution to our clients and our firm. Ramsey's deep industry expertise in the retail and consumer industries strengthens these growing areas of our practice. He will help us deliver the highest quality investment banking services to owners of privately-held businesses," said Michael Carter, Managing Director of Carter Morse & Mathias. Mr. Goodrich will be responsible for new business development, and providing merger and acquisition, capital raising, business strategy and financial advisory services to the firm's clients in the consumer and retail industries. Prior to joining Carter Morse & Mathias, Mr. Goodrich was a Managing Director of Westbury Group, LLC, and of Spinnaker Group Capital Advisors LLC, both investment banking firms based in Fairfield, Connecticut. Previously, Mr. Goodrich was a Vice President of E&Y Corporate Finance, an affiliate of Ernst & Young which is now known as Giuliani Capital Partners, in their M&A and Capital Markets group based in New York. During his career, he has also held various positions at Banque Paribas and Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Goodrich received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University. Mr. Goodrich also completed graduate studies in international business administration at the Institut Superieur des Affaires (ISA) at L'Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France. In addition, he also holds his NASD Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. Mr. Goodrich is an active member and on the board of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. He is also on a Board Committee of Stepping Stones Museum for Children, based in Norwalk, and is active in the alumni groups of both Stern and St. Lawrence University. Mr. Goodrich is married with two children and lives in Fairfield, Connecticut.
