Jack Krichavsky Affiliates with Carter Morse & Mathias
March 14, 2005 - Carter Morse & Mathias, a regional investment banking firm based in Southport, Connecticut, announced that Jack Krichavsky has affiliated with the firm as senior advisor.
Jack has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and project management, and specializes in working with growth-oriented, closely-held companies. He also assists clients to raising debt and equity financing, including taking companies public through initial public offerings as well as privatization of public companies. Jack retired in 2000 as a partner of Arthur Andersen LLP after 28 years of service. Representative clients include the Colt Defense & Manufacturing Companies, Royal Precision, Inc., Alstom Signaling, Inc., AgIon Technologies, Inc., and Litchfield Insurance Group.
"Jack brings broad experience in working with entrepreneurial companies in the middle market from his many years as partner-in-charge of Arthur Andersen’s Commercial Services and Small Business Practices in Hartford. He will enhance our ability to provide high value-added strategic and financial advisory services to companies in the technology, manufacturing and distribution industries”, said Gary Mathias, a managing director of the firm.
Jack played important roles in the founding of the Connecticut Technology Council and the Hartford Chapter of the Entrepreneurship Institute. He is a board director for several non-profit organizations including the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, Community Capital Campaign of Greater Hartford, and the Hebrew Home & Hospital.
Jack Krichavsky is a board member of AgIon Technologies and Royal Precision, and continues to serve as president of Almada Corp., a firm that provides financial and strategic consulting services to both publicly and privately-held midsized companies. He has a BA from Adelphi University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania.
Carter Morse & Mathias is a regional investment-banking firm, founded in 1987 and headquartered in Southport, Connecticut.
