BrandDirect Marketing, based in Wilton, Connecticut, was an idea when first introduced to our firm.  The company’s novel business concept involved developing and marketing thematic, club memberships with established consumer brands directly to consumers.  Clubs were created with Disney, Burbee’s, Sesame Street, Simplicity and others.  CM&M worked closely with the entrepreneur in writing the business plan to raise its first round of financing of $3.25 million from Still River Ventures and Boston Millennia Partners.  The company subsequently raised several rounds of financing from Readers Digest and Advanta Partners.
