CuraGen, based in Branford, Connecticut, is a biotechnology company that is working on improving the speed and efficiency of drug development. We were engaged during the company’s first year in operation to design a capital formation strategy, assemble a business plan that justified the capital, and to quarterback the process. CM&M assisted in structuring and negotiating the company’s first round of institutional capital. The company went public with Morgan Stanley and at its height had a market capitalization of over $1 billion. |
