Safety Sales ("DC Safety"), based in
Hauppauge, NY, is the country's
largest designer, assembler and marketer of
OEM first aid kits for the automotive
industry. The founders were looking for a liquidity event and growth capital for the
expansion while also providing for a
generational transfer to the next generation. The family partnered with Dubilier
& Co. and CapitalSource to recapitalize
the company. A principal of CM&M served as
DC Safety’s exclusive financial advisor in
