New Media, headquartered in Westport, Connecticut, was a leading television production and distribution company when they first approached our firm. They produced the award winning series Trailside: Make Your Own Adventure on PBS. The Wall Street Journal included Trailside in its list of top ten programs at the time. Trailside provided guidance to those interested in camping and wilderness activities. They were building a franchise around this brand, producing videos, books, and a membership club. CM&M arranged, structured and negotiated a $3.15 million private placement of Convertible Preferred Stock from Prospect Street Advisors. |
