Ace Ambulance, headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut, was the largest ambulance company in Fairfield County. The owner recognized early on that the industry was going to undergo massive consolidation. Ace was potentially one of the valuable assets in Connecticut if sold at the right time, early on during the consolidation phase. Ace was sold to Laidlaw, which was competing with American Medical Response for control over New England. CM&M had advised Ace for several years prior to arranging and negotiating this transaction. |
