Compudata Professional Systems (Compudata) was a provider of physician practice management systems to providers throughout the southeastern U.S. After operating for 20 years as a closely-held business, the owner of Compudata decided to exit the business through a sale to a strategic buyer. The company was sold to Medic Computer Systems, a leading supplier of sophisticated application software packages to physicians' practices and other healthcare providers in the US. A firm principal served as financial advisor to Compudata. |
