NSRS, based in Fairfield, Connecticut and backed by venture capital, was the leading provider of education information, primarily for moving families. NSRS developed a proprietary database of nationwide school information. Pre-movers visit and moving families register on the Internet to receive information on the schools and community to which they are moving. CM&M served as the company’s exclusive financial advisor in the sale of NSRS to Homefair.com, a real estate Internet content business owned by Central Newspapers. After this transaction closed, Homefair was sold to Homestore.com. |
