Jon Michaels has returned to CMG as a Vice President, where he is responsible for leading M&A engagements and new business initiatives.
Over the past decade, Jon has advised families, founders, entrepreneurs and private equity clients in M&A transactions totaling over $1.5 billion in realized enterprise value. Prior to rejoining Carter Morse & Goodrich, he served as a Vice President at Bigelow LLC, a boutique M&A firm focused on similar clients as CMG, and was previously a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials M&A group. Jon was formerly with CMG for two years following his time at Great Rock Capital as a Senior Associate, where he underwrote and managed credit facilities for privately held businesses. He began his career at GE Aviation in the Financial Management Program (FMP).
Jon is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and regularly speaks to business owners about strategies to create and capture enterprise value in advance of an M&A transaction. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Statistics from the University of Vermont.
