In this role, he will leverage his 35+ years of M&A experience to lead CMG’s Food and Beverage industry vertical and drive transaction execution and business development initiatives.

Prior to joining Carter Morse & Goodrich, Ross was a Managing Director at Capstone Partners and KPMG Corporate Finance for six years where he led their respective Beverage sector investment banking coverage. Mr. Colbert was a Managing Director at Rabobank Group from 2011 until 2019, and served as Global Sector Head – Beverages, Global Strategist – Beverages and Head of Food & Agri Research in the US.

His transaction experience includes a wide range of clients across the food and beverage value chain including suppliers, processors, brand owners, distributors, and retailers. Mr. Colbert has led and consummated cross-border advisory transactions in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Mr Colbert is married with three daughters and lives in Weston, CT. Outside the office he is an avid horseman and adventurer; and successfully finished the 2024 Mongol Derby, the world’s longest horse race, that stretches 1,000 km across Mongolia’s vast wilderness.
