Carter Morse & Goodrich (CMG), a boutique investment bank founded in 1987, has announced the opening of a new office in Garden City, New York marking a significant step in the firm’s continued growth throughout the Northeast.
Located at 1051 Franklin Avenue in the heart of downtown Garden City, the new office strengthens CMG’s ability to serve its expanding network of clients, advisors, and transaction professionals throughout the Long Island market. In addition to its new Garden City office, CMG maintains offices in Southport, Connecticut, and Providence, Rhode Island. By establishing a local presence alongside Long Island’s dense concentration of privately held businesses and active advisory ecosystem, CMG will be able to deliver real expertise to its core clientele and professional advisors across the area.
The office will be led by Partner and Managing Director Terry Hannafin, who brings deep regional ties and extensive experience advising middle-market businesses. “I grew up on Long Island and am excited to spend more time back home,” said Hannafin. “CMG has spent decades working with business owners and advisors across the Island, so this is a natural next step in strengthening our presence as a trusted local advisor. There is a strong community of family-owned and founder-led companies here, and the professionals who support them are some of the best in the business.”
