SOUTHPORT, CT — Carter Morse & Goodrich (CMG) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jon Michaels from Vice President to Director, effective July 1, 2026.

As a Vice President, Jon already leads client engagements and transaction execution functions for the firm. As a Director, Jon will take on the additional responsibilities of overseeing junior professionals and take a more proactive role in client development and management. Jon joined CMG as a Vice President in 2025, returning to the firm after holding similar roles at Houlihan Lokey and Bigelow LLC. Before working at CMG from 2021 to 2023, Jon developed his underwriting skill at Great Rock Capital and financial analysis prowess as a member of GE’s Financial Management Program.
